Overview
We are seeking a Multimedia Designer to support the development of multimedia, video, animation, graphic design, and communications materials for internal and external clients.
This position is based in Lake City, FL. The role focuses on executing creative concepts, producing high-quality deliverables, and contributing to marketing, communications, and public outreach initiatives while collaborating with more senior designers and project teams.
Your role
- Support the design and production of multimedia, video, web, and graphic design projects.
- Assist with proposals, presentations, multimedia deliverables, and basic web development assignments.
- Execute layouts and creative concepts based on established direction and brand standards.
- Develop collateral materials including brochures, presentations, social media graphics, project displays, fact sheets, newsletters, maps, and basic animations.
- Assist with public information and communications materials such as press releases, newsletters, project fact sheets, and presentations.
- Support community outreach and public affairs initiatives through visual content and design deliverables.
- Assist with basic website updates, photo galleries, and content maintenance.
- Research and select appropriate images, graphics, and other visual assets.
- Create and edit illustrations, photography, and video content; perform basic animation and audio/video editing.
- Take and edit digital photographs for project documentation, marketing use, and public-facing materials.
- Support coordination efforts for events such as public meetings, open houses, and project tours, including preparation of materials and displays.
- Monitor and organize project-related media, visuals, and reference materials.
- Prepare files for production, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain consistency in format, design, and branding.
- Organize and maintain project files, asset libraries, and assigned work.
- Operate standard multimedia and design tools and equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

About you
- A.A. or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Development, Communications, Public Relations, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience in multimedia design, graphic design, or communications.
- Strong written, verbal, and proofreading skills, with solid visual design fundamentals (layout, typography, branding).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders, and work independently as needed.
- Comfortable supporting public-facing materials, presentations, and outreach efforts.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Computer proficiency required; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Additional information
Expected compensation range is between $50,000 - $60,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
