Senior Project Manager – Global Projects

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven HR Project Manager. This role will lead on global HR projects. The incumbent will be accountable for ensuring the success of the HR functions projects, delivering these with a global mind-set whilst at the same time understanding and respecting regional needs and cultural norms. The incumbent will work closely with teams in the Company's People Hub as well as building trusted relationships with HR stakeholders in all regions. The incumbent will partner with the Company's global IT function to ensure successful delivery of the technology aspects of each of the global HR projects.

Your role

  • Project management of agreed HR change initiatives, leading global project teams via a matrix model, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Collaborates extensively with the HR Leadership Team to develop the overall HR Applications portfolio.
  • Provide consultancy and thought leadership to the HR communities in the areas of HR systems, HR processes, and HR analytics.
  • Gathers data and leverages market intelligence on best practice to influence HR decisions and strategy in the areas of HR Shared Services and HR digitalisation.
  • Ensure projects are conducted with the highest standards of quality and integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage HR technology, develop business cases, and monitor value realisation for HR Operations.
  • Facilitate effective partnerships with a cross-section of internal functions and external service providers, while building trusted relationships with HR Leadership within regions.
  • Comply with all company Business Conduct Guidelines.
  • Develop a high-performance culture across the projects.

About you

Skills and Attributes:

  • Project management capability across technology, process, and organizational redesign.
  • Ability to lead multiple workstreams/projects and utilize resources effectively to meet objectives.
  • Demonstrable experience of HR Shared Services/HR Operations, delivered via an offshore Service Delivery Model.
  • Deep knowledge of transitioning HR transactional activity offshore.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR processes and technologies, with experience in HCM, recruitment, L&TD, payroll, case management, and time & attendance platforms.
  • Experience in leading performance-led teams, with ability to define, measure, and report on service standards.
  • Ability to lead global thinking while simultaneously understanding and respecting regional needs and cultural norms.
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills, with the ability to use storytelling to present compelling data-driven propositions/solutions.
  • Partner with data owners to assess data quality, integrity, and readiness.
  • Drive data cleansing initiatives by influencing relevant stakeholders.
  • Change Ambassador with experience in communications, training, and behavioral coaching, focusing on the employee experience.
  • Demonstrable leadership style of coaching, mentoring, and facilitating career development.
  • Results-oriented with a high work ethic, stringent quality standards, and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to think strategically while simultaneously understanding the detail.
  • Strong commercial understanding with the ability to build a compelling business case.
  • Broad experience in implementing continuous improvement, drawing on a developed toolkit to address current challenges/requirements.
  • Budget planning and management experience, ensuring project delivery within defined budget.
  • Demonstrable resilience with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business, across multiple geographies.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in:
    • Project Management.
    • Global Project Delivery.
    • Experience working across cross-functional and global teams.
    • Certification in Project Management (PMP/Prince2) or Change Management is a plus.
