Overview
Daily tasks will include performing various duties within a multidisciplinary team, including identifying environmental and social impacts, coordinating experts, preparing reports, and interpreting results according to current standards. This position involves direct interaction with clients, strong writing skills, and participation in stakeholder relations.
Your Role
Develop and maintain effective and constructive relationships with clients within your responsibilities;
Prepare the social component of environmental and social impact studies, including baseline studies, consultations, and analysis of social and cumulative impacts;
Conduct stakeholder analyses and understand social acceptability issues;
Develop and maintain good relationships with regional stakeholders, depending on the projects, including:
-Prepare and lead public consultation meetings;
-Conduct and coordinate stakeholder interviews;
-Facilitate and coordinate liaison committees;
-Participate in and implement stakeholder engagement strategies;
-Prepare and implement communication plans;
-Prepare and implement public consultation processes;
Provide advisory services on social engagement strategies;
Draft technical reports;
Work closely with other AtkinsRéalis teams;
Ensure compliance with deliverable quality, budgets, and schedules.

About you
University or college degree in geography, land-use planning, social sciences, environmental sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience in environmental impact and social acceptability studies;
4 to 25 years of experience in environmental impact and social acceptability studies, ideally in a consulting firm or engineering company;
Proven experience participating in projects with strict deadlines and budgets, ensuring high client satisfaction;
In-depth knowledge of best practices in environmental impact studies and social acceptability;
Proficiency in French (spoken and written); bilingualism is an asset;
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or ability to obtain CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification;
Experience or accreditation in ISO14001 or ISO9001 auditing is an asset;
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
