Your Role
- Determine the specific needs of the projects, establish the scope of work, and identify the steps and timelines for execution.
- Provide engineering services related to sizing, manufacturing, refurbishment, and installation of turbines and compressors, mainly gas compressors.
- Perform design work and calculations required for the project.
- Participate in the development of technical specifications.
- Validate compliance with current standards and verify the conformity of specifications and other documents produced by suppliers.
- Estimate project costs.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders (other disciplines, clients, suppliers, etc.).
- Prepare technical specifications and reports.
- Provide mentorship to engineers on your team and support them in their development.
- Establish and maintain an environment that supports ethical and professional practices in engineering work.
- Perform any other related tasks deemed relevant to the role.

About You
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in industrial mechanical engineering focused on steam turbine and high‑pressure gas compressor engineering; experience in consulting engineering is considered an asset.
- Understanding and knowledge of systems related to turbines and compressors (piping, valves, controls, etc.).
- Proficiency with simulation and calculation tools (CFD, FEA).
- Demonstrated high level of autonomy and ability to act as a subject-matter expert.
- Member in good standing of the Ontario Professional Engineers Association (depending on location).
- Strong knowledge of industrial and/or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience in the nuclear or LNG sectors is considered an asset.
- Recognized for strong leadership, the ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships, and maintaining high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience with service proposal processes and business development is an asset.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
The expected compensation for this position ranges from $117,200 to $161,200 per year (applicable only in Ontario). Base salary is determined by several factors such as skills, experience, and the potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness is also considered in our offers.
