Overview
The role will involve providing enhanced retrofit advice to support householders in achieving low‑carbon homes. The successful candidate will be required to undertake activities such as mid‑ or post‑installation site visits, carrying out assessments where necessary, maintaining relationships with installers and builders, and lodging installations to the TrustMark data warehouse.
Your role
- Support Retrofit Assessors with day‑to‑day tasks and advisory delivery.
- Develop guidance, templates, and materials to improve service quality.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to plan workload and support project delivery.
- Provide senior administrative support to project managers when required.
- Assist Retrofit Assessors further as needed across projects.
- Contribute to creating resources and materials for the wider team.
- Participate in training, onboarding, mentoring, and skills development.
- Represent AtkinsRéalis at external events and conferences to promote the organisation.

About you
- Ability to build strong technical and professional skills, including identifying remedial works and developing ventilation strategies.
- Competence in producing improvement option evaluations, showing impact on energy costs and carbon emissions.
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing retrofit design documentation.
- Clear and confident communication skills to engage with customers and manage expectations professionally.
- Commitment to ongoing learning, CPD, and staying updated on technical standards (e.g., PAS 2035).
- Ability to build effective relationships with project funders, stakeholders, colleagues, and external partners.
- Professionalism when working directly with households, installers, and builders.
- Willingness to follow established procedures and accurately gather and relay information.
- A collaborative mindset supported by structured induction, mentoring, and team guidance.
