Toronto Pearson Airport is embarking on a bold, multi billion dollar infrastructure redevelopment initiative that will transform Canada’s largest airport into one of the world’s most advanced, sustainable, and passenger centric aviation hubs. This long term transformation is designed to increase capacity, improve efficiency, and significantly enhance the end to end travel experience, representing a major step forward in modern airport innovation.

Spanning more than a decade, this ambitious redevelopment program will redefine how travelers move through, connect within, and experience Toronto Pearson Airport. The initiative includes next generation digital infrastructure, modernized terminal and airfield design, and upgraded environments for both passengers and employees. Together, these improvements will set new standards for sustainability, operational excellence, and long term growth in the aviation sector. 

As one of the most significant airport redevelopment efforts currently underway in North America, this program presents a unique opportunity for professionals to contribute to the future of global aviation and help shape the next generation of airport infrastructure. 

Our role: engineering the future, together

 As a key partner to Toronto Pearson Airport, AtkinsRéalis plays a pivotal role across both the Owner’s Representative and Owner’s Engineer teams, supporting all phases of this large scale transformation, from early planning through to delivery.
