Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the strategic management of compensation within AtkinsRéalis. Working under the direct supervision of the Director, Total Rewards, you will have the opportunity to participate in the design, analysis and implementation of competitive and equitable compensation practices and policies. Joining our team will not only enable you to gain valuable expertise in compensation, but also to contribute directly to our mission of attracting, motivating and retaining top talent.

Your role

  • Solve issues by completing benchmarking and ad hoc analyses and identifying the best solutions to ensure our competitiveness in the market while ensuring internal equity.

  • Working collaboratively with the Total Reward Global team, lead the annual compensation cyclical activities, providing technical advice, helping shape communications and project management as required for the Canada region.

  • Provide consulting services, insight, and guidance to HR Business Partners, Recruiters and other internal clients on compensation topics.

  • Lead the pay equity and transparency activities and other mandatory reporting to ensure compliance with legislative reporting requirements, including data analytics, development of communications and publication of results.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of communications and training.

  • Seek to improve compensation practices by questioning the status quo while exploring cutting-edge practices, market trends and legislative changes.

  • Completes compensation surveys from a variety of sources in order to gather compensation data based on the market.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial Science or related field required.

  • 5 years of related experience required.

  • Must have strong quantitative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with ability to research and analyze various types of data. Ability to take complex data and create concise, user-friendly analysis.

  • Advance skills in Excel; proficient in PowerPoint

  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously in a fast-changing environment

  • Excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team-driven environment as well as in an autonomous manner.
