Overview
The mission of AtkinsRéalis Canada's Supply Chain/Material Management team is to provide expertise in material Management and Expediting for major projects in Canada to ensure the timely procurement, delivery, and availability of materials required to support major infrastructure, industrial, energy, and transportation projects across Canada.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Specialist – Team Lead, the Expeditor is responsible for managing and expediting standard materials to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with project schedules and established supply chain procedures. The role serves as a key liaison between project stakeholders, suppliers, receiving teams, and construction personnel to maintain material visibility and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.
Your role
Manage and expedite standard materials in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure timely delivery aligned with project schedules.
Collaborate and interface with key stakeholders across internal and external teams, including project management, project controls, engineering, shipping/receiving, construction management, and suppliers.
Coordinate with Receiving and Warehouse teams to ensure all materials are delivered with proper documentation and manage returns, shortages, damages, or discrepancies as required.
Lead cross-functional meetings and prepare expediting reports for key stakeholders, providing timely updates on material status, critical shipments, and associated supply chain risks.
Monitor purchase orders, supplier commitments, inspections, and deliveries to proactively identify and resolve potential delays.
Track critical material milestones and maintain accurate information within supply chain and material management systems.
Support logistics activities related to transportation, delivery coordination, and material movement from supplier facilities to project sites.
Escalate critical material risks and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with project teams and suppliers.
Promote continuous improvement and best practices in expediting, material management, and reporting processes.

About you
3 - 8 years of experience in expediting, procurement, material management, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operations.
Experience supporting large capital projects in industrial, energy, infrastructure, mining, or construction environments is considered an asset.
Demonstrated experience in EPC, EPCM, IAGC, or other collaborative project delivery environments.
Experience working with ERP/Material Management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of purchase order management, supplier follow-up, material tracking, receiving, warehousing, and logistics coordination.
Dedicated team player with well-developed interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
Demonstrates a high level of organization with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
Project Conditions:
The position is associated with a major industrial project located in Quebec.
Travel to job site will be required to ensure close collaboration with the project teams.
The site is located approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from Montreal.
A valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
