Overview
The Geotechnical team includes more than 80 employees who, in recent years, have participated in major projects such as the Réseau express métropolitain (REM), the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge, and the development of Quebec's battery industry.
Your Role
Monitor drilling and trench excavation work for geotechnical and environmental exploration;
Collect and describe soil, rock, and groundwater samples;
Perform surveying using GPS and/or level;
Use specialized equipment such as geo-camera, inflatable packers, dilatometer, pressuremeter, vane shear tester, and others;
Draft and complete various site reports;
Report technical issues to the project manager or coordinator;
Comply with current safety measures.

About You
Hold a college diploma (DEC) in environment, civil engineering, mineral technology, or a university degree in geology or equivalent;
Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience;
Knowledge in soil identification;
Able to communicate in French (oral and written) and English* (oral is an asset);
Hold an ASP Construction safety card;
Knowledge of measuring instruments used on site;
Be in good physical condition;
Available to work different shifts;
Available to travel frequently, including to remote areas;
Hold a valid driver's license in Quebec.
*This position requires knowledge of another language besides French, namely English, as you will be part of a Canadian, global, or regional management team and will need to collaborate with colleagues outside Quebec.
