Total Reward Manager - MEA

Overview

The HR function plays a critical role in enabling the business, empowering line managers, and supporting our employees throughout the organization. Within HR, the Total Reward team operates as a global center of excellence, providing expertise across compensation, benefits, and mobility.

In the MEA region, the Total Reward team is responsible for shaping a competitive and compelling compensation and benefits framework, one that reflects market realities, attracts top talent, and supports the retention and continued development of our people. Through data driven insights and thoughtful program design, our team ensures that our reward offerings align with business goals and strengthen our position as an employer of choice.

The MEA Total Rewards Manager is responsible for supporting and executing compensation and benefits programs across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. This role focuses on program implementation, compliance, and ensuring alignment with the global Total Rewards framework. The role works closely with the regional HR teams, the Global Benefits and Compensation Operations teams as well as the People Hub, who manage day‑to‑day administration, to enable smooth delivery of programs and a positive employee experience.

Your role

MEA Compensation & Benefits Strategy & Design:

  • Support the development and evolution of the MEA compensation and benefits strategy to ensure competitiveness, cost efficiency, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Lead core compensation and benefits cycles, including:
    • Annual merit and bonus processes.
    • Medical and life insurance renewals.
    • Salary structure reviews.
    • Embedding recognition.
    • Collaboration with HSE on wellbeing initiatives.
  • Support the TR Director with modelling scenarios, assessing financial impact, and preparing recommendations.
  • Localize global Total Rewards programs for the MEA, ensuring regional relevance while maintaining global standards and governance.
  • Ensure accurate deployment of global salary structures and compensation frameworks across the Middle East.
  • Develop and deliver training for HR, managers, and Talent Acquisition on pay fundamentals, governance, salary reviews, compensation frameworks, offer guidelines, and the correct application of compensation principles and policies etc.
  • Create clear and engaging communications (presentations, toolkits, intranet content, emails) for compensation cycles and program updates in liaison with the regional communications team, and support with change management messaging.
  • Serve as the MEA liaison to Global Benefits Operations regarding administration, vendor management, and processes.
  • Build strong relationships with regional stakeholders, external providers, regional vendors, and cross‑functional teams across the globe.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Monitor changes in MEA employment legislation and requirements; oversee compliance across all regional programs.
  • Partner with Legal, HR, People Hub and Global Operations to ensure benefits programs meet regional regulatory standards.
  • Maintain regional governance frameworks, ensuring benefits/ compensation design and communication meet our global guidelines.

Data, Analytics & Insights:

  • Conduct regional benefits cost modeling, utilization analysis, and trend forecasting.
  • Provide insights to HR and Finance to support budgeting, renewals, and strategic workforce planning.
  • Use data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved employee experience.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in benefits strategy, program design, or Total Rewards (MEA experience strongly preferred).
  • Certifications - GRP, CIPD, CCP, or Other Total Rewards‑related professional accreditation.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Compensation and Benefits role.
  • Proven experience managing Darwin or another flexible benefits platform.
  • Strong project management experience across multi country environments.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Project Management.
  • Agility & Continuous Improvement.
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to distil complex concepts into clear guidance for stakeholders.
