So, we spoke with Sarah, an Associate Architect at AtkinsRéalis, to bust some of the most common myths and share what architecture really looks like today.
Myth 1: Architects only draw beautiful sketches
This is perhaps the most common misconception. While sketching is a valuable tool in early ideation, it's only the tip of the architectural iceberg. Architects at AtkinsRéalis are deeply involved with functional planning, structural logic, sustainability principles, regulatory frameworks, and multidisciplinary coordination.
