Overview
The Construction Manager Communication Systems, Traction Power System, Overhead Catenary System is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the field construction and integration of LRT systems including Communication Systems, Traction Power Systems (TPS), and Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS). This role ensures construction activities are executed safely, in compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications, and regulatory standards, while supporting system integration, testing, and commissioning.
Your role
- Lead and manage construction activities for Communications Systems, TPS, and OCS, ensuring alignment with design, schedule, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with civil, trackwork, and station construction teams to resolve interface and constructability issues impacting systems installation.
- Oversee contractors' and subcontractors' field activities, including work planning, sequencing, inspections, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., employer/authority technical standards, electrical safety rules, railway standards).
- Manage field change requests, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and support resolution of design and construction issues in collaboration with the design team.
- Support system integration, testing, and commissioning activities, including readiness reviews and deficiency close - out.
- Monitor construction progress and report on schedule, cost, risks, and mitigations related to systems construction.

About you
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in rail or LRT projects, with demonstrated experience in systems construction (Communications, TPS, and OCS).
- Proven experience managing contractors and coordinating complex field operations on large infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of rail systems construction practices, safety requirements, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem - solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced design – build environment.
