Overview
The Field Services Manager plays a critical role in delivering high-quality site inspection and construction auditing services for Transmission and Distribution (T&D) projects across Ontario. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will lead field teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the safe, efficient delivery of infrastructure projects that support innovation and reliability in the energy sector.
Your role
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee site inspections and construction auditing services for T&D projects to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and contract requirements.
- Lead and mentor inspectors and auditors, promoting safety, productivity, and technical excellence in field operations.
- Coordinate with project schedulers to ensure qualified and trained staff are available for all assignments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving technical and site issues to ensure client satisfaction.
- Enforce safety protocols, participate in incident investigations, and adapt safety training to project needs.
- Track service metrics, prepare performance reports, and recommend process and quality improvements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to support smooth project execution and continuous improvement.

About you
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in Electrical Utility industry with extensive experience in both Transmission and Distribution construction and maintenance activities, in urban, rural and remote areas.
- High Voltage Electrical Trades Red Seal, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Leadership skills with 10+ years of management/supervisory experience, and the ability to promote collaboration and a positive environment for a team of field staff.
- Thorough understanding of Government Regulators, including Electrical Safety Authority (in regards to O. Reg 22/04), Ontario Energy Board, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills. Deep understanding of electrical systems and industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, address and resolve potential inspection-related challenges, while being committed to safety and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, lead under pressure, while managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing field conditions.

Expected compensation for this role is between $132,600 - $183,600 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
