Linxon is looking for an experienced Lead Recruiter to join our team in Chennai. Reporting to the Global Recruitment Manager, this role will lead end-to-end recruitment across engineering, support services and IT functions, with a strong focus on talent for transmission and distribution projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-caliber recruitment professional with deep sector knowledge and a proven track record of hiring technical talent in complex project environments. The successful candidate will bring strong market insight, stakeholder management capability and the ability to deliver recruitment strategies that support business growth.
What will you do?
- Lead full-cycle recruitment activity across engineering, support services and IT roles.
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver effective hiring plans.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for technical and professional talent, particularly within transmission and distribution projects.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including briefing, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management and onboarding handover.
- Build strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions in the EPC and power transmission sector.
- Provide market intelligence, talent insights and hiring recommendations to support business decisions.
- Drive a positive candidate experience and promote Linxon's'employer brand in the local and wider talent market.
- Ensure recruitment activity is delivered efficiently, compliantly and in line with business and project timelines.
- Support continuous improvement in recruitment processes, tools and reporting.
Experience and Education Required:
- Minimum 15 years of recruitment experience, with significant exposure to transmission and distribution or related infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in recruiting for engineering, support services and IT roles.
- Strong understanding of technical hiring within EPC, energy, utilities or power project environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver recruitment outcomes in a fast-paced business.
- Excellent sourcing, assessment and candidate management skills.
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building capability.
- Experience working with senior hiring managers and global or regional recruitment teams is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
