Overview

We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior BIM Manager- Digital Transformation to join our team in Orlando , FL, Atlanta, GA and Austin, TX . This role is also open to other locations nationally.

The Senior BIM Manager- Digital Transformation will help advance the way AtkinsRéalis plans, delivers, governs, and scales digital practices across infrastructure, transportation, buildings, and multidisciplinary project environments. This national role is focused on practical digital transformation, standardization, and adoption rather than a single software specialty. The successful candidate will be a visible and collaborative leader who is passionate about helping project teams work more consistently, confidently, and efficiently through improved information management, common data environment practices, model-based workflows, digital quality review, and repeatable standards.

This role will work as part of the Digital Transformation team with an emphasis on two connected areas: Digital Fit & Adoption and Digital Governance. The position requires curiosity, strong communication skills, patience, enthusiasm, resilience, and a willingness to teach, coach, and influence teams across offices, disciplines, and project types. The ideal candidate understands BIM and information management principles, can translate digital strategy into practical project delivery behaviors, and can help develop the templates, procedures, guidance, and adoption pathways that enable teams to deliver high-quality digital outcomes.

Your role

  • Support the Digital Transformation team in advancing consistent digital delivery practices across disciplines, business lines, and project types.
  • Lead Digital Fit & Adoption activities that help project teams select, configure, and apply the right digital workflows for the work being delivered.
  • Develop and promote information management practices aligned with client requirements, project needs, and recognized standards such as ISO 19650.
  • Standardize common data environment approaches, including project setup, permissions, folder structures, naming conventions, workflows, and data exchange practices.
  • Support global tool adoption, workflow customization, and practical implementation of digital platforms used for collaboration, design review, model coordination, construction planning, 4D, 5D, and asset information delivery.
  • Engage with project teams to identify digital needs, remove adoption barriers, improve consistency, and encourage repeatable approaches that enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Lead Digital Governance activities, including the development, revision, and deployment of standards, procedures, guidance documents, and project delivery templates.
  • Establish standardized digital quality review processes using model-based, data-driven, and collaborative review tools.
  • Create and maintain templates, checklists, playbooks, onboarding materials, and training content that enable consistent implementation across projects.
  • Work with design leads, BIM managers, project managers, information managers, and technical specialists to embed digital requirements into delivery plans and execution processes.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to build digital confidence, strengthen adoption, and develop a sustainable network of digital delivery champions.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging digital delivery methods, industry practices, and technology trends that can improve project outcomes and client value.
