Overview

The Piping Supervisor oversees on-site piping installation activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This role involves coordinating manpower, monitoring progress, and supporting quality checks to deliver successful construction outcomes.

Piping Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all piping installation activities at the construction site.
  • Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Monitor daily progress, manpower allocation, and equipment usage to meet project timelines.
  • Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with engineers and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and implement design changes.
  • Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, punch lists, and assist in material tracking.
  • Ensure proper handling and installation of pipes, valves, fittings, and related components.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Support pre-commissioning and testing activities as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3–7 years of experience in piping installation and supervision, preferably in industrial or EPC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation practices.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards
  • Experience in site coordination and working with multicultural teams.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret piping drawings
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and site compliance requirements.
