Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer (Site Operations) with extensive experience in site operations, particularly in high-rise tower projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, coupled with hands-on experience in site supervision and design coordination. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in ensuring the structural integrity and success of iconic projects in the region.
Your role
Site Operations Management
- Oversee all aspects of structural site operations for road and infrastructure projects, including bridges, interchanges, culverts, retaining walls, underpasses, tunnels, and associated structures.
- Coordinate closely with contractors, subcontractors, utilities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
Site Supervision with Design Experience
- Lead site supervision activities, conducting regular inspections to monitor construction progress, workmanship quality, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Provide on‑site technical support to resolve structural, constructability, and methodology issues arising during construction.
Road & Infrastructure Project Expertise
- Apply in‑depth knowledge of road and highway infrastructure, including reinforced concrete and prestressed structures, earth‑retaining systems, and temporary works.
- Ensure structural solutions are optimized for constructability, durability, and long‑term performance under traffic and environmental loads.
Design Coordination
- Act as the key interface between site and design teams.
- Review and coordinate structural drawings, calculations, method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals to ensure alignment with project and authority requirements.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Implement and maintain robust quality assurance and quality control measures.
- Ensure compliance with UAE and international design codes, project specifications, and authority approvals.
- Identify, report, and help resolve non‑conformities promptly.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, inspectors, and site staff.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement on site.

About you
Requirements
- Bachelor'S or Master's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on site operations for road and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in UAE road projects, preferably with leading consultancies or major infrastructure programs.
- Strong knowledge of structural systems related to highways, bridges, interchanges, and associated infrastructure.
- Proficiency in relevant structural design software and international/UAE codes and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced site environment.
Mandatory

Desirable
- PMP or similar project management certification
